The Titans of Typing is a school-wide initiative to teach students the basics of keyboarding on a QWERTY keyboard. Students from 2nd grade through 5th grade are learning proper keyboarding techniques such as correct finger positioning, posture, hand and arm placement, and, of course, speed and accuracy. As the world around us continues to evolve into a computer-based society, it is imperative that students learn at an early age the fundamentals of keyboarding. Therefore, the students at STILL Elementary have been immersed in Typing.com for the first quarter of the school year to teach them the basics and provide them time to master these skills over the academic school year.
